Whitney Strickland
I have been in the business of providing turnaround services for the refining and petrochemical industries for over 25 years.
Starting from working at WilsonStrickland's shop at the age of fourteen to field work as a laborer when sixteen years old and moving through the ranks of several different turnaround specialty companies to the position of superintendent. Then after 15 years of field experience I came back to work at AltairStrickland in 1998 to implement the systems and procedures needed for the company to grow in the way of providing manpower, better efficiencies in the field administration, networking capabilities and overall information and communication infrastructure. I was the Vice President - Chief Marketing Officer of RepconStrickland which is a holding company for the seven specialty companies of AltairStrickland, Repcon, Tiger Tower Services, Diamond Refractory, ASI Piping, Turnaround Welding Services and DATSU. In 2009 I took a brief hiatus to start a consulting company called Whitney Strickland & Co. to help other companies sell and market themselves to the Energy Industries. Then in 2010 I came back to AltairStrickland as the VP and Chief Marketing Officer of AltairStrickland Holdings, LLC.
Whitney Strickland serves on the board of Certified Safety, LLC and serves on the Board of The Wheelhouse Inc. a non-profit facility to help those suffering from alcoholism. He is also on the Board of The Jerry & Linda Strickland Family Foundation. He is also a past President of Up the Street Club, Inc. a not for profit group that facilitiates 12 step programs.
"Treating people right has always been important to me throughout my career as a supervisor and manager. I believe that the more we climb the corporate ladder the more people we actually work for as we move up. The field workers are the top priority and anything I can do to help them do their job helps the company as a whole."
