lanie whittaker

Gainesville, Florida, United States

As a Division I track and field student-athlete at the University of Florida, I not only have to out-run my competition on the field, but I also have to be able to parallel my athletics to real life situations. I have spent thousands of hours perfecting my craft and the characteristics and life lessons I have learned from my work have aided in my personal growth.

I look to increase my experience in the workplace while spreading an optimistic, hard-working and positive attitude to those around me. As a captain of my collegiate track and field team, I take my position very seriously, as a result it has translated into my academic world at UF.
I see being appointed team captain as an opportunity to inspire others to excel further than what I have accomplished thus far, by providing them with the necessary tools they need to become successful. I love to give back by any means necessary, whether it is community outreach, small donations, eating lunch with a child, or simply just helping someone who needs someone to be there for them.

I am self-motivated, passionate and hardworking individual. My volunteer experience with the Goodwill Gators, and desire to empower the youth of today has given me the ability to strive to make a greater difference in the lives of those I will work with. Theres no better feeling than knowing you've put a smile on someones else face.Go Gators!!

I would appreciate the opportunity to further discuss my experience and qualifications with you. Please feel free to contact me at any time by email at [email protected]. Thank you for your time and consideration.
