Whittney Van Horn

Whittney Van Horn graduated at the top 25% of her class from Allen High School in 2012. She is a sophomore at Texas Tech University majoring in accounting at the Rawls College of Business. She was inducted into the national honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma for achieving at least a 3.5 GPA her first semester freshman year. She is also a current pledge in the co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi! Whittney is a driven and hard working student. She strives at anything she performs with her utmost effort to be the best. She was on the deans list both semesters her freshman year for having a 3.8 and 3.7 GPA. With the average 35 hours she works a week at BJs Restaurant and the 15 credit hours at Texas Tech, she still finds a way to manage her time and excel at her school work. Her goal is to complete the 5 year Rawls Masters of Science in Accounting program to graduate in 2017 with a Bachelors and Masters degree in accounting. She then wants to continue on her career as a CPA at a top firm in a big city somewhere.
