Lauren Wickersheim

Tampa, FL

What do you do?

I work full time in the library of Florida College as a Technical Assistant; I was very fortunate to be hired straight after I graduated. I spend my days processing new books, supervising student workers, and loving the fact that I get to work for the best college in existence.

What's your husband like?

My sweet J-Wick. He came into my life at the precise moment God planned, and I could not be more grateful. He is the spunk to my shy, the laugh to my cry, the tall to my short, the north to my south, the budget to my purse, the strong to my weak, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

When did you get married? What was your wedding like?

June 22, 2012. Our wedding was a big, outdoor, mason jar, lemonade, biscuits, lace, wildflower-filled beautiful day. I'll never forget it.

What do you do with a free afternoon?

What are those? In my mind's eye of my perfect life, I would travel around Tampa to find new, unique places. Realistically, I would probably clean and watch Netflix.

Where did you go to school? What was your major?

I attended Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL for 4 years and received my A.A. and my B.A. in History. It is the best place on earth. My parents met there, my brothers and sisters-in-law met there, I met my husband there. It is owned by Christians, run by Christians, taught by Christians, and attended by some of the best young people you will ever know.
