Growing up tough, made her realize life is tough, and that a proper education and job experience will make it slightly easier. With this in mind she worked hard since primary to grad school and obtained a scholarship for Dutch literature from ROC Zeeland College, Middelburg – Netherland. She always carries a motto in her life, "Work Hard, Dream Big, Pray a lot". She believe that her dreams will come true if she works extra hard and prays every time.

Widya Safitri started her career as a Customer Care Officer at a Retail Company, PT Pasaraya Nusakarya in 2002. Her passion in the communication industry, moved Widya to the advertising world, starting her career at Benang Merah Communication in 2004 as Junior Account Executive. She is consistent with her motto and career and this has rewarded her as she is now the Account Director in SemutApi Colony.

Her 10 year experience in advertising and client management has empowered her know how in handling clients, projects management and team building. Several brands that have been handled successfully are Citibank, ABN Amro, Djarum, Telkom, Pfizer, 3M, Indosat, Michelin, Johnson & Johnson, Etc.
