Wiggzaro is a musician, producer, sound engineer, performer, composer and an educator, and is currently working from his music production studio in Queens Park, London, having moved to the U.K. from South Africa in 2008 where he was working as the Creative Director and Chief Sound Engineer of PyramidRox Recordings. Wiggzaro has two formal education qualifications behind his name, a B.Soc.Sci (Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Economics) and an N.Dip.Mus (National Diploma in Light Music) He started off in the music industry as a guitarist, and has written music for and played with a number of groups ranging in styles from Ska-Pop (Euphoric Phase) to World Dance (Jungabeez, Dance of Life, Zwalaka) and Afro-Latin-Jazz (Sankambe). Wiggzaro started his production career programming electronic music on his computer while studying jazz on a formal level. His passion for composing music on computers blossomed into a production career that now sees him working in high demand as both a producer and sound engineer with young and old artists and producers alike, some legendary in stature. Before moving to London Wiggzaro worked as a recording and mix engineer with many of South Africas legendry African and World Music artists such as Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbulu, Salaelo Selotta, Jonas Gwangwa, Vusi Khumalo and many others. Since being in London Wiggzaro has broadened his skill base and worked with a very diverse collection of artists spanning from over 30 different countries so far. He has been working in styles of music ranging from Irish Folk Rock to Hip Hop to Electro Pop, House, World and Latino music. Some of the artists and writers Wiggzaro has worked with in London include the likes of Don Scannell, Lokandes, Chrispin Hunt, Bugsy Mc, Plamina, Alies Sluiter, Unique, Spynel, Waqar, Mc Magico, Camelia, Alex Scott, Livia Leverage and many others. Wiggzaro's work encompasses a cross spectrum of disciplines that include programming music electronically, arranging and composing for music for artists and recording, mixing and mastering tracks and albums. Before moving full time into music production Wiggzaro worked as a music technology lecturer. He spent five years lecturing electronic music, sound engineering and production and was responsible for the course design and development of educational material as well as designing and installing studios at Eastside College and then Central Johannesburg College.
