Erin Wiley is one of Washington DC’s leading event management and strategic planning consultants. Before launching Wiley Ideas, Erin was a founding member and Vice President of Global Entrepreneurship Week and the Global Entrepreneurship Congress where she successfully managed national and international conferences of up to 4,000 attendees in the United States, China, Brazil, the United Kingdom, UAE, and Russia. Many of these event featured high profile speakers including Sir Richard Branson, former United Kingdom Prime Minster Gordon Brown, Russell Simmons, Snoop Dogg and Mark Cuban.

Erin was also responsible for securing and maintaining over $2 million in sponsorships for GEW events form organizations such as NYSE, Dell, Ernst & Young, IBM and the United States State Department.

Her PR/marketing and fundraising skills were honed early in her career with positions at the Democratic National Committee and as an independent fundraiser for Congressional candidates and various statewide office holders. Erin has also consulted within the start-up community, helping to launch an education and training network for entrepreneurs.

On the policy strategy side, Erin has organized conference programming on a range of policy issues including: entrepreneurial growth and economic development; health care and genetics; renewable energy; education; and workforce development.

Erin completed a Masters in Political Management at The George Washington University and is a proud leader of the DC Oklahoma University Alumni Association, hosting weekly OU football events during winter months that regularly attract over 200 supporters.
