Wilkie Wong

I am an electrical engineer by training and have worked in the semiconductor industry for many years in three continents. After the company I worked for got acquired (I was responsible for half of the company's revenues), I decided to "see the world" by joining a small venture capital firm as a limited partner, and later as an advisor. For about ten years, I have participated in investing in startups mainly in semiconductor and telecom industries and seen failures and successes. My curiosity and my own consulting work brought me to a doctoral program of the City University of Hong Kong.
