An award-winning communicator, I started my career in 1992 in local government publicity before joining the Benefits Agency as a press officer.

Leaving public service in 1997, I have spent the past 19 years in consultancy specialising in issues and media management for a range of private and public sector clients covering portfolios such as financial services, change management, health, tourism, legal services, education, welfare to work, planning and regeneration, social housing and adoption service.

My integrity is all important, and I pride myself on being persuasive and honest. I am an experienced media relations practitioner, especially in B2B and corporate situations and I use social media to good effect for my business clients.

I have built on my Advanced Diploma in Communications Studies, with a distinction in PR to become a Fellow, UK Council and Board member and Chartered PR Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). I am also a member of Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), Public Affairs Cymru and the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Outside work I am chair of governors at a Cardiff primary school and a non-exec director of a social enterprise, Full Circle Education CIC.
