Writing like a Wave
As a writer, I could be described as a wave. When I start writing, I often find it that I need something to get me going, I need an idea to work off of. Once the idea gets to me, it builds up in my head, where it will just keep getting bigger and bigger. Eventually, all my ideas just crash onto the paper, just like a wave crashes into the shore. Once the tide dies down, I always find myself coming back to my writing. However, this time I dont crash into the shore, I ease up to (revise) it, and sweep out any shells or deformities, making a picture perfect scene. Sometimes I have bad writings, just like how a wave might wash a dead whale up onto the beach. I think that to write well, you need to immerse yourself in the idea, and just dive in, just like you might dive under a wave in the ocean. I think the main idea of writing isn't gramatically writing something, but expressing yourself and your ideas on a peice of paper. The grammar can come along with your ideas.
