I was born in Marietta, GA. I attended Marietta City Schools and participated in several activities including football, wrestling, soccer, and theater. After receiving 10 varsity letters, I attended Rhodes College where I played NCAA football and track & field. I received my BA in Economics in 2008 and participated in 2 archaeological field seasons, 1 in Tennessee and 1 in Israel. After graduation I moved back to Marietta to work for Cauthorn, Nohr, & Owen as a paralegal/office assistant and coach football and wrestling at Marietta Middle School.

When I'm not at work I like to spend my free time volunteering as a coach, reading, watching tv, playing golf and softball with my friends, exercising, training my dogs, working on my carpentry skills, learning to play guitar, and traveling. I have volunteered as a coach for 5 years and it takes up most of my fall and winter. In the spring and fall I play softball. I've been known to play golf in 40 degree weather so I like to play year round. I have a 10 year old dog and a 12 week old puppy. They're a handful, but a lot of fun. So far I've made a couple of benches, a table, and a 3 piece locker, but I plan on making an entire living room set, a builtin closed, and possibly a doll house for my nieces this year. I also want to finish the year with a 12 handicap or lower in golf.
