I am a follower of Jesus, have been an United Methodist pastor for 36 years, and am blessed with a beautiful 28 year old daughter. More than any other factors, these three things define who I am.

Later this year I will be celebrating the 31st anniversary of my 29th birthday (you do the math). I’d like to think that I am older than I look, and younger than I feel.

A few of my interests include pottery – I have my own wheel and kiln and am learning, photography, books, movies, music. I am a fan of University of Kentucky Basketball, Eastern Kentucky University Football, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Will was born in Kentucky. Somewhere, in the good and the bad and ceilings falling down during prayer meetings, Will questioned his charismatic beliefs, trading them for the Wesley brothers. Through college and seminary, and some beer and Bible, he became a bona fide preacher, meeting a woman along the way. Marriage to Cheryl, yes. Divorce, yes. Daughter, yes.

"My beautiful Desiree," he calls her often.

His daughter is still the light in his life, despite her having both a cat and a dog. There are days when he questions his calling in life, but then again, who doesn't.
