I grew up in NJ in a small town not far from everything, went to college in VA in a small southern town near nothing and call it home for 20+ years, called to China after college and have lived in cities with a total population of close to 75 million people, lived in one city that added 10 subway lines in 6 years and have been to a lot of places in between

I love to hunt and fish, mainly b/c it is quite and I can ponder and write poems

I like to read books on real things and listen to my wife read books on fictional things

I love the Chinese written language and try to speak it (I don't do very well)

I love the Yankees, I used to love the Cowboys, but, now I follow the Giants and the Eagles

I have 5 kids

I have a goldy wife

I think the BSA is awesome and hope they never change their policies

I love the Bible and love teaching others what He has taught me, I love the idea of planting new group and watch they grow into dynamic, healthy, vibrant and active bodies that glorify Him
