I am passionate about sustainability and my life ambition is to create lasting positive impact to our environment, society and people. Having built up a variety of work experiences, principally in the financial sector, I have recently attained adistinction in a Masters in Environmental Science. Over the years I have travelled to a number of remote places, including recent trips to South America and Antarctica, and have learnt first-hand how climate change has affected localcommunities and the environment there. Having the opportunity to help vulnerable and disadvantaged societies tackle andadapt to climate change is one of my dreams. I have therefore pledged to devote the rest of my career to environmentaland social sustainability.

Educated and trained in the UK, I have five years of solid experience as a chartered accountant. I am conversant with the financial sector and investment cycles, and proficient in financial and strategic analyses. I am able to understand andsolve complex problems, and often critically reflect and challenge my own thinking and assumptions, holding myself andothers to high standards. I am inspired by TED talks, books, articles, and conversations with others. I am grateful for allthe opportunities I have had. I am prepared to push boundaries and leave my comfort zone to learn and experience newideas; from this I have learnt to deal with uncertainties. Finally, I am fascinated by the concepts of 'futures thinking' and‘radical innovation’, and how they can be applied to positive environmental and social causes.
