With 15 years of design experience ranging from local advertising to national catalog work, and 7 years of project management in the academic publishing industry, I have recently rediscovered my love and talent for analytics.

Whether it is fantasizing about the future implications of the science and technology news of the day, or figuring out how to streamline a complex Excel spreadsheet to be more friendly to the average user, I find great personal satisfaction in making unexpected connections from disparate sources of information and distilling it down to share with others.

This recaptured passion has lead me to the discovery of the field of big data analytics and my current preoccupation of pursuing a Masters of Science in Data Analytics. One day, the title of "Data Scientist" will be mine.
