Born and educated in Scotland, best known as ‘Will Cross’ he lived in London for 30 years and is a retired Civil Servant. A writer, lecturer and researcher based now in South Wales. He is the author/ co- author of several books on members of the Morgan family of Tredegar House, Newport, and other books on the Herberts ( Carnarvons ) of Highclere Castle ( Downton Abbey ). Will is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and a member of the Society of Authors.
