William J. Booker is a publicist, social media influencer and media expert who has more than twenty years experience and a proven track record in garnering positive media coverage as Founder and CEO of ChicagoPRworks, (a Public Relations boutique headquartered in Chicago), for non profit organizations and corporate clients, providing both PR counsel and strategic integrated marketing plans.
Booker got his start as a publicist with the advertising, publicity and promotions agency Hess Newmark Owens Wolf, where he assisted in executing and developing promotional and publicity campaigns for movie studios, and coordinating movie screening, press junkets, and red carpets for newly released movies.
Over the past decade, Booker has worked on publicity and public relations campaigns for the City of Chicago, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, University of Chicago Medicine, SouthsideExpo.com, New Line Cinema and the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving.
