William D Bierwas

William D. Bierwas is a Licensed Water Treatment Plant Operator currently living in Wharton NJ. William is employed by the City of East Orange at the White Oak Ridge Pumping Station in Short Hills NJ.

William presently holds an NJDEP issued T3 Water Treatment and W3 Water Distribution License. He also has a Bachelor Degree from William Paterson University where he graduated with Honors.

William has professional certificates and training in all aspects of the Water industry. He first obtained his Intro to Water and Wastewater Training from Bergen Community College followed by Advanced Water Operations from Agra Environmental Laboratories. He has other varied training ranging from his OSHA 511, Confined Space Training, CPR and AED Certifications, Confined Space Training, Trenching and Shoring Training, Incident Command and National Framework Training, Management Skills for Supervisors, SCADA Training, and Electrical/Ladder Logic Training.

William D Bierwas began his career working for the Ringwood Department of Public Works as a Laborer 1 at the age of 18. There he learned all entry level aspects of the water industry ranging from Water Main Repair, Curb Box Repair, Underground Utility Locating, Service Line Repair, Hydrant Installation, Hydrant Repair, Unilateral Flushing, Water Treatment, Sewage Treatment, Sewage Collection, Cathodic Protection, PLC Troubleshooting, Chemical Mixing and Preperation, LMI Pump Repair/Installation and Varied Plumbing Work.

William's hobbies include aerial drone footage, video editing, fishing, snowboarding, travelling, photography, fitness, spending time with his fiancé and border collie, automotive repair, automotive detailing, and blogging.

William is engaged to Aimee Eckert and they will be getting married on October 10th, 2016 at Farmstead Golf and Country Club.
