William Gresser

Civic leader William Gresser invests his energy in activities that benefit the businesses and citizens of his community in Yuma, Arizona. With interests spanning city development, historic parks, and community healthcare, William Gresser has been a member of the Industrial Development Authority Board for the City of Yuma, and has also served on the Yuma Crossing Park Board and the Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) Foundation Board.

A native New Yorker, Mr. Gresser moved to Arizona in 1980, and made Yuma his home 10 years later. In 1993, he and his wife opened the popular Papa-San Rice Bowl restaurant. In the ensuing two decades, the restaurant has earned a 2007 Workplace Excellence designation as a Great Place to Work, and a Yuma County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award.

William Gresser attended Niagara University in New York, where he earned a bachelor of arts in education. He later attended Harvard Graduate School of Business, and completed the university's Program for Management Development.
