William Levin
Writer, Musician, and Artist in Brooklyn, New York
William Levin creates cartoons, music and viral videos that have been featured on The New York Times, Sesame Street, The Howard Stern Show and in film festivals.
Levin joined the Writers Guild of America, East in 2009 as a writer for Shalom Sesame, and is a member of ASCAP.
In 2010 and 2011, Levin met with members of Congress in Washington, DC, as a representative of WGA East and Sesame Workshop, to advocate for increased federal funding of public media and Children's Educational Programs on PBS.
In 2016 William and his wife Malya co-founded Alliance Community Reboot (ACRe), a non-profit organization dedicated to rebuilding Jewish farm-based community in south New Jersey.
Levin has worked with Toon Boom and FableVision Learning for the NYC Department of Education, District 75, training teachers and special needs students how to animate.
William lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife Malya and their 4 kids.
