William Lively co-founded the Minnesota-based Syndex Labs in 2017, and spent the following three years as its chief executive officer and chairman. Now an activist shareholder, William Lively uses his ownership to drive the firm’s business development.
While CEO and chairman, he was involved in corporate decision-making and managing overall operations. He also acted as the main point of contact between the firm’s corporate operations and the board of directors. Alongside this, he was Syndex’s public face.
Mr. Lively’s efforts also led it to be worth $25 million in three years, with part of this being driven by equity investments. As part of this growth, he cultivated $1.1 billion in asset commitments.
During this time, he oversaw the development of a CRE investor ecosystem. Utilizing Blockchain technology, the system was the first of its kind to focus on real estate investments.
William Lively has also worked with several other firms in Minnesota, such as Iko, which he co-founded and led until its acquisition in 2016.
