I have been licensed as an attorney in Michigan since 1997, and I have risen through the ranks, making my mark as a tough Metro Detroit area criminal defense attorney. I am known throughout the nation as one of Michigan's leading DUI/DWI attorneys, but I handle all felonies and serious misdemeanor cases, including drug charges, forfeiture cases, retail fraud, assault cases, domestic violence, and stalking charges.

In 2014, I was elected by my fellow criminal defense lawyers to serve as the 2014-2015 president of CDAM, the Criminal Defense Attorney of Michigan. CDAM is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit and Michigan’s largest statewide criminal defense attorney organization. Each year, our organization sponsors educational opportunities at a variety of conferences, presenting some of the best and most knowledgeable speakers in their respective areas of criminal defense. We also host the Trial Practice College, a trial advocacy workshop that teaches criminal defense lawyers how to try cases to win instead of trying to win cases.

I have extensive training, experience, and knowledge regarding the science of breath and blood testing and field sobriety testing, and I have been qualified as an expert witness in these areas on numerous occasions by Michigan courts.
