William Michael Gallant was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He grew up loving the outdoors and sports- playing lacrosse, soccer, and running track. When he was young, he went on a trip with his family and fell in love with surfing. However, there isn't a lot of great surfing in Tallahassee, Florida, or in Florida at all for that matter, so William Michael Gallant would take weekend trips whenever he could to find new places to surf and get better and better at the sport he loves. He was such an outdoorsy person that he often had trouble with schoolwork. He was easily distracted and always planning his next adventure. His parents finally decided that they would allow him to travel the world after high school rather than attend college if he pulled his grades up and successfully graduated from high school on time. This was motivation enough for William Michael Gallant, and he greatly improved his studies.
Upon graduating from high school, which he managed to do with great grades, William Michael Gallant knew that college was not the right step for him. Instead, he and a couple of his buddies decided to travel around the world in search of the best places to surf, along with incredible things to see and unforgettable experiences. These travels took Wiliam Michael Gallant all around the globe, leading him to some of the most infamous and unreal surf locations of all time, but also allowing hims to meet some amazing people, try new things and make memories that he knew he would not soon forget.
William Michael Gallant has surfed in locations such as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Portugal, to name a few of his favorite places that he had the fortune of seeing on his travels. These experiences were unbelievable and allowed for William Michael Gallant to not only see the most amazing places, bust also to come away from the trip with a much more refined style and skill in surfing.
The last stop on his world travels was Hawaii, which is known for its incredible waves. Loving it so much, William Michael Gallant decided to stay in Hawaii for some time, making a living by teaching surf lessons, working at various restaurants and surf shops. He met a number of incredible surfers in Hawaii as well, who further helped him to become a better surfer, and he began competing in surf competitions with some really great surfers.
He then moved to California in order to try to get more involved in the
