I am a community booster of Rogers Park. Member of many local organizations whose goals are to improve the public health and safety, quality of life and recreation, business and beauty of Rogers Park. As President of the Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce, I have initiated: A Shop Local campaign to encourage economic growth of small businesses. A Fresh Start program to physically clean-up Rogers Park every first and third Monday of the month, named Fresh Start Mondays. An annual Art Auction, which benefits Search Inc.'s Visibility Arts program to promote visibility in the community for artists with developmental disabilities. The annual Unifying Rogers Park event to encourage inclusiveness and good will between all businesses, organizations and residents of Rogers Park. "Working together will provide new opportunities to better our community". The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce is also currently developing the first annual Taste of Rogers Park to celebrate and introduce visitors to our businesses, culture and artists.
