William Saas

I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in the department of communication arts and sciences at the Pennsylvania State University. I study rhetoric and political theory, with special focus on rhetorics of citizenship. My dissertation research centers on immigration debates in the United States, from the Depression to the Cold War. As a graduate student, I have served as both an academic advisor to students and the instructor of record for courses in communication studies and English.
