William Schantz

William Schantz established Maple Shade, New Jersey’s Mid Atlantic Financial, LLC, in 1988, and continues to lead activities at the organization as owner and chief executive officer. In this position, he owns and manages a number of insurance and financial companies operating under the Mid Atlantic umbrella, including Senior Settlements, LLC, Bedrock Financial, LLC, and Harper Financial, LLC. Between these and other Mid Atlantic business interests, William Schantz engages in financial matters ranging from insurance premium financing to life settlements transactions in capital markets. As a business leader, he is involved in every aspect of operation, from recruiting to long-term strategy.

William Schantz studied political science at Villanova University, graduating with a bachelor of arts. Over the course of his career in the insurance industry he has attended a number of educational presentations and forums, particularly those focused on matters of longevity and structured finance. He also maintains membership with the Life Insurance Settlement Association. He played an instrumental role in the creation of life settlements as an asset class in capital markets, a class now valued at tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue.
