Mostly have been in school all my life, either learning or trying to help others do so!

My LinkedIn page can tell you more, regarding some of the 14 institutions where I have studied, and aboput some of the 10 institutions where I have been on the other side of the desk.

My two fields of study are history and mathematics, or -- mathematics and history. At present I am teaching 'networks and graph theory' and also finishing two monographs, one on the Spanish-American War and the other on Woodrow Wilson and why the League of Nations met its final lack of success.

Here in Hong Kong I am active in a number of the art arenas, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Hong Kong NMuseum of Art, HK University Museum, and the HK Architecture Centre.

I am also active in alumni development: Yale, Bowdoin, USC; the Fulbright program, and others.
