William Timlen

An experienced CPA and current tax principal with Friedman LLP in New York City, William Timlen has established himself as one of the top accounting executives in the New York area. He received his bachelor of science in accountancy from Providence College, where he earned a place on the Dean’s List and played on the school’s NCAA Division I baseball team for all four years. William Timlen belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

As a CPA, William Timlen consults with clients in the business and real estate sectors to help them maximize the value of their investments and transactions. He frequently works with clients in the nonprofit sector, many of whom must overcome ever-changing financial, regulatory, and assurance requirements. In addition to tax services and audit/assurance advice, Timlen assists nonprofit clients in areas such as budget review and analysis, internal controls assessment, and accounting manuals and procedures.
