William Vandebelt

My full name is William Kenneth Vandebelt. I was born on Super Bowl Sunday in Canada during the year of 1995, and for those who don’t know that’s January 29th. I grew up loving hockey and the snow, but after a quick four years in Canada we all, mom, dad, sister Cortney, and myself, moved to the other side of the world to Sydney, Australia. Australia was an amazing time! I have tons of stories to tell, but won’t share them here for it will probably be too long. I did see the Great Barrier Reef 4 times, been to Bondi beach, Whitehaven Beach, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbor Bridge, saw the Olympics live, and much more! Like I said, so much to tell.

After 4 years of what seemed like a vacation, we all moved to Indiana here in the US. It’s definitely a different type of life style, but not one to complain about. I play hockey, and have been since I was 4. I have played on travel teams, won nationals, and just recently won 4A state for Brebeuf. I currently play Golf and will continue my hockey career at Purdue.

I want to go into something with computers whether it is computer engineering, computer science, or computer technology. Computers and technology are my biggest passions followed by Outer Space, the ocean, and animals.
