William Murphy

Hi, I am William Murphy and over the past few years, I have started to look back on what I have experienced. The things I have noticed astonish me in the most selfless way. But they also show me a great insight into who I am and what I want to do with my life. Some how in this crazy backwards world I live in, I found a great observational skill for problem solving. Not in the way of seeing 2+2=4, but in noticing day to day actions or events that seem simply too complex. One example is through my experience in ski racing where I started to notice an annoying piece of equipment that just seemed out-of-date and overly time consuming. Taking this problem back with me, I ended up creating and building a finalized prototype that improved upon the design and execution and that I plan to take to the next level one day. But even without that final product, the personal reward I gained from creating this tangible solution, helped make my decision to major in Entrepreneurship. Looking forward, I just cannot wait to see what other challenges lie ahead.
