William Wanner is a Minneapolis, Minnesota business administrator who has served as the chief executive officer and principal shareholder of Wanner Engineering, Inc., since 1973. He Chairman of the Board at PUR Water Purification Products, Inc. untill its sale to Proctor and Gamble in 1999. Further he served on the board of directors for UltiMed Incorporated; Judgephase, Ltd.; and AmeriPride Services, Inc. William Wanner undertook undergraduate studies in history through in the University of Minnesota.
As CEO of Wanner Engineering, Mr. Wanner oversees the design, manufacture, and sale of seal-less, hydraulically balanced pumps for a variety of industrial and commercial purposes. These pumps are used by a range of international businesses including paper mills, food processing factories, car washes, and wastewater treatment plants. The company also engineers and markets centrifugal pumps for a variety of textile, steel, and metal treatment applications. Its peristaltic and diaphragm pumps are widely used in the mining, petrochemical, cosmetic, dairy processing, and pharmaceutical industries.
