Willie Wilkov is a global marketing communications executive with 20+ years of experience growing iconic $1B+ brands. Throughout his career, Willie has been known for being collaborative and entrepreneurial, creative and innovative, unflappable and even-keeled in the face of change. He is a passionate leader with a strong commitment to employee development, mentorship, and building strong teams.
Willie is the Chief Marketing Officer of PlayFusion - a start-up pioneering the next generation of connected interactive entertainment. PlayFusion's proprietary technology platform uniquely fuses video games, robotics, toys and transmedia entertainment.
Prior to becoming CMO at Playfusion, Wilkov spent six years at TOMY International where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. Before his role at TOMY, Wilkov was Vice President of Marketing for the Sun-Times News Group and spent a decade before that in the agency world at Draft and Leo Burnett in Chicago.
Wilkov holds a dual Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas. His family is currently in the process of collecting children’s books for charity, hoping to collect one million by 2023.
