I am formerly an orchestra conductor, which led to my working with performing artists, writers, and directors to help creative people be present in the moment and develop stronger, more authentic self expression. This work grew to include sessions with the general public and often incorporates a strong intuition that helped me in my music career. I moved to New York City in the summer of 2104 to work on writing projects. A year later, I moved to Newbury Park (on the northern edge of the Malibu Hills) to continue writing but to also rebuild my counseling career. This ironically led to teaching at a boarding school (again) in Virginia, of all places. I love it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, finding beauty I had never imagined before. Something about the light here, I think.
