Although many people have siblings, my relationship with my brother Dylan is stronger than words can explain. Dylan has made impacted my life and made me into the person I am today. He was diagnosed with William's Syndrome shortly after he was born and it has been a blessing in disguise. When I was younger, I saw my friends playing video games and football with their older brothers and had an expectation that my relationship with my brother would be identical to those of my friends. Little did I know, my relationship with my brother would not consist of playing games in the yard. I was forced to wake up early most mornings to make him breakfast and help get him ready for therapy. At the time, I was disappointed by reality but made the best of my situation. Our bond grew stronger each day and throughout time, became unbreakable. He has taught me many life lessons on how to love and care for people, and also many times on how to be patient. Dylan cares for anyone no matter what and I have learned how to be a better person because of him. I honestly can say I have become a better man because I had to care and help raise him. I know I am a role model for him, but he is a role model for me because he has taught me how one should live life to the fullest.
