Will Owens is a recognized figure in Marquis Who's Who, honored for his achievements and contributions across multiple industries. Born and raised in historic Selma, Alabama, Will is the grandson of Reverend John D. Hunter, Sr., a civil rights leader and member of the "Courageous 8." Inspired by his family's legacy, Will set out to build a name of his own.
After graduating from Selma High School, Will served with distinction in the U.S. Marine Corps. His military experience instilled in him discipline and resilience, preparing him for future success. Following his service, he earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Life University in 2006.
Will entered the real estate world with a vision to help others achieve stability and success. As CEO of American Dream Properties, he specializes in the acquisition and rental of real estate nationwide. He also pursued innovation, founding Owens Innovations Inc. to address real-world challenges.
Among his inventions is the Slide Soket, a "patent pending" surge protector with rotating and sliding sockets, created to solve his own garage-space issues. After obtaining a license, he initially marketed it through As Seen on TV before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the partnership. However, major brands have since expressed interest, and Will remains focused on bringing the Slide Soket to households nationwide.
Will is also a published author of twelve books, including From Zero to Millionaire: A Guide to Building Wealth Through Real Estate, Million-Dollar Credit Repair Guide, Step-by-Step Guide to Starting a Business, Invent and Grow Rich, The Art of Manifestation, Always Break The Rules: Be Relentless, and Cultural Wisdom. His works empower readers to pursue financial freedom, business success, and personal development.
Dedicated to philanthropy, Will regularly supports organizations like pancan.org, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Currently, Will is producing a documentary, The Great One, which highlights his grandfather’s role in the civil rights movement in Selma. With relentless drive, creativity, and a commitment to making a positive impact, Will Owens is building a legacy designed to inspire generations to come.
