Ashley Wilson

Ashley Wilson is currently a Junior at Clark Atlanta University pursing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. As a college student she has faced many obstacles but has refused to let outside forces determine her fate. Ashley is a lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated who is a very goal oriented, self-motivated, determined scholar. Ashley has participated in many endeavors such as serving as a Gates Millennium Ambassador. In this capacity, she serves as role model to students from her high school and within her community and encourages them to become applicants for the Gates Millennium Scholarship program. She also serve as a Peer Teaching Assistant where she contributes to the professional development of first year students by assisting them with resume writing, enhancing presentation skills, and researching internship opportunities. In addition, she prepares students for corporate leadership through coaching and providing coporate knowledge.

This past summer, Ashley was granted the opportunity to intern with Colgate-Palmolive holding a position in Sales/Customer Development. She served as a liaison between the Value Discount Channels' management and product team. Ashley's responsibilities included preparing profit and loss statements for all Colgate's categories, analyzing sales trends by utilizing retail auditing, producing planogram store set ups and interpreting planogram outlines to ensure the set up store locations corresponded.

Overall, Ashley makes a positive difference in the lives of those with whom she interacts. She has promise as an academic achiever that her humanitarian and civic responsibilities are ongoing while matriculating successfully at Clark Atlanta University.
