At the age of 34, I have realized that I've been focused on the wrong things in life.
My focus should not be on anything or anyone else other than Christ.

It started with this quote by Martin Luther King Jr: “I have decided to stick with Love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”

Over the last several months, that quote has been at the tip of my brain, in everything I do. Daily conversations seem to gravitate towards it, and comments made by people in my life seem to point towards it.

Its about Love. Its always been about LOVE.

I believe that Jesus came to teach us how to love. As a majority, the “CHURCH” has lost that message. We preach it from the pulpit, but we do not live it day to day, or even Sunday to Sunday. I have been under church doctrine and religious oppression most of my life, and I’m stepping out. Don’t get me wrong, I am a very committed member of my church, and very actively involved in several ministries. However, I believe that the world needs to hear a different message than what we are giving today, as Christians.

At the end of the day, I believe in the God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ His one and only Son, the Holy Spirit and the absolute validity and authority of the Bible. Nothing will ever change that. I know I will probably have those who will disagree with me at times, and thats ok. My hope and prayer at the end of the day is to give a glimpse of what Jesus truely means to me, and why I believe He really came to earth. His love and salvation have changed my life, for the rest of my life. I have suffered betrayal, pain, loss, confusion and lonliness. With Christ, I have also experienced abounding joy, unexplainable peace and unconditional love. I dont have all the answers, and never will. My hope is that you might find solace in the fact that you’re not alone. The photogaphy comes from my heart, the eye comes from God.
