My husband and I are the parents of 3 amazing adult children. I was born with my job inside me - coaching parents, writing, chatting on radio and television, and speaking to groups about my passion--to make this a better world for children -- better than we found it!

After more than 30 years of studying, practising, teaching and promoting parenting, I know -- and love to show parents -- how to get a child's cooperation, how to get children to listen -- without "losing it", without shaming them or yelling at them.

Parenting does not have to be hard or stressful -- even in this fast-paced, digital world -- if you are willing to learn how to be a positive, connected parent!
