Winthrop Edward Jeanfreau is an entrepreneur, executive leader, and civic educator with more than 30 years of experience across industries such as manufacturing, finance, education, and firearms training. Throughout his career, he has founded 12 companies, successfully exited eight, and created a cumulative revenue impact of more than $680 million. His professional path has taken him from launching businesses to serving in higher education leadership, and he holds certifications in business analysis, financial services, and firearms instruction. He is also a published writer and an advocate of constitutional education, committed to sharing knowledge and practical skills that prepare others for success.

Win Jeanfreau earned his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Utah before completing an MBA at the University of Oregon. This academic foundation gave him the tools to guide companies and organizations through growth, innovation, and transition.

His entrepreneurial journey began in the 1990s with the creation of Kameleon International, a vending franchise that grew across 10 states. Through proprietary intellectual property and a structured franchisee training system, Win built a model that achieved 100% franchisee longevity, a rare accomplishment in franchising. The company was eventually sold as a profitable and scalable business. Around the same period, he co-owned Shred-it Oregon, part of a global document destruction brand. Competing against over 100 locations nationwide, his franchise became the fastest-growing and most profitable. He led sales for three years, broke production records, and later sold the operation for a strong return.

In 1999, he established Aperion Audio, a direct-to-consumer high-fidelity audio company. Long before online retail became common, he recognized how digital tools could connect products directly to customers. Jeanfreau oversaw engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, positioning the company as a global name with award-winning products. This venture also ended in a successful sale.

He went on to co-found a financial services firm in Portland, which later merged with one of Oregon’s leading independent wealth management firms. His approach included offering financial literacy seminars through community colleges, providing value both to public institutions and clients seeking financial guidance.
