BS Cornell U., entomology/biochemistry; PhD U. Illinois-Chicago, pharmaceutics; FAIC (fellow, American Inst. of Chemists). Edited/wrote 6 texts (1987-2003) on microbio-logical analyses and other scientific methods. Taught biology course at East-West U. and Kankakee Community College. Chief Entomologist, running bubonic plague control in central South Vietnam (1966-68). Lecturer, lab instructor on moleculat sep-aration/purification methods (Pharmacia Fine Chemicals), lecturer/lab instructor on aseptic methods, microbial removal from suspension, etc. (Millipore Corp.). Numerous peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals (1962-2006). Twice married (2 yrs 1 child; 21 yrs 2 children). Work in US, eastern Asia, northern Europe. Favorite locales: eastern Australia, Vietnam.
