Hello to you all my beautiful people! My name is Winnie Mogadi Marutle. Born in Ethiopia lived in Tanzania and grew up mostly in South Africa currently living in Dubai. I am a child of the earth but I consider South Africa home. I have three passions after God, travel food and writing. In that order :).

These passions I inherited from my beloved Papa James Ray may his soul RIP. My daddy inspired me so much with his beautiful mind, love for people and exploring. He taught me that travel opens your mind and empowers you to know more be more and do more.

From a young age I remember thinking..I want to travel to as many lands as he did. I plan to travel to 60 countries before I turn 40, even more would be great. So, I decided to combine my three passions into one-and voila …my blog was birthed!!

I get inspired by meeting new people, learning new languages, seeing through countless lenses, experiencing this magical magnificent earth that God created and seeing all His splendor displayed everywhere I go.

I have a severe case of wanderlust and keen sense of curiosity and a desire to learn. I am a Child of the earth!
