I became an entrepreneur January 2015, after working in government and corporate America all my adult life. I gave my two week notice in December 2014, with only nine months left till my retirement date because I could not my current working conditions another day. My mother required round the clock care and the cost to have home health care while I went to work virtually cancelled out my income. It made perfect sense to me to stop my 9-5 misery and go home to care for my mom personally.
