Winona Winkler Wendth

Writer and Editor in Lancaster, Massachusetts

I am a peripatetic New Yorker and freelance writer and editor. I also teach college writing, literature, film, and other humanities courses west of Boston and provide workshops, seminars, and tutorials for a wide variety of professional and academic writing projects. I have lived in Japan and studied in the Czech Republic. I am also a member of the Steering Committee of The Dayton Literary Peace Prize and a founder of The Seven Bridge Writers' Collaborative in Lancaster, Massachusetts. I write both fiction and creative non-fiction, which have appeared in various literary journals and general interest publications, as well as on NPR's "Three Minute Fiction." My work has earned recognition for both writing and photography, including a "Notable" listing in Best American Essays / 2010 and recommendation as a "Good Read" during the Chicago Humanities Festival. I hold an MFA from The Bennington Writing Seminars.
