Winston Shepard
I am a pilot, blue water sailor, diver, avid fisherman and hunter, fervent environmentalist, and experienced businessman. An Emory University Business School graduate; for most of my life I have owned and managed my own businesses. I have farmed, was a nurseryman, and the CEO of a boat manufacturing company, among other endeavors. Fifteen years ago I became interested and involved in photovoltaic (PV) systems. These were the days when the solar industry was coming of age. The industry was pursuing the “Holy Grail” of solar power; cost parity with the utility companies. This has been achieved. Presently, it is less expensive and less financially risky to generate power from a photovoltaic system you own, rather than to purchase power from the utility company. Together with Blue Chip Energy of Lake Mary, FL; the largest photovoltaic contractor in the southeast and the third largest solar panel manufacturer in the US; we offer all our own photovoltaic products, professional services, and construction services to homeowners, businesses, large and small, and utility scale developments.
