Within Our Roots

Within Our Roots is an organization working to develop an educational system that will disrupt the miseducation and misrepresentation of the systemic institutional racial stimuli that hinders the advancements and achievement amongst those of the African American descent.

Our mission is to cultivate an infrastructural immersive community systems that will bring civic leaders and influencers together in order to cultivate joyful, liberatory and visionary solutionist practices that enables proactive change in communities.

As we transform the concepts of the organization we will derive our focus on these 4 main pillars amongst the D.A.R.E initiative. The pillar will be used to consult with social organizations who strive to combat systemic change in their surrounding communities. As we explore these pillars we will focus on how to deconstruct the ideas of power, oppression, and racism that will expose the systemic and institutional endeavors to development of Africa and the African diaspora that will expose the civilizations of the originator of the global histories and interconnections. Advocate for the narratives and life of the various black ethnic groups worldwide. We will work to explore black identities and use the specific identities to explore Black history in its entities. Reconstruct a system that will address and include black peoples deficiencies and vulnerabilities through innovation. Enlighten individuals on the humanization of agency, resistance and perseverance that will alter the racially constructed ideologies of African Americans experiences and perspectives.
