W. James Vandermark

Besides reading and writing, W. James enjoys fencing, foreign films, and listening to NPR.

His heroes include the lexicographer, Sir James Murray, the fantastical Victorian dandy, Oscar Wilde, the late French pâtissier, Gaston Lenôtre, and the disarming consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes.

W. James is currently a full-time high school senior student.

His latest project, The Order of IV, is a young adult novel that aims to incorporate elements from traditional literary fiction while simultaneously grappling with young adult issues.

He will be applying to several different universities over the course of this year. W. James hopes to become not only a published author, but also a psychiatrist that specializes in anti-social personality disorders.
