I have been an instructor at the Art Institute for 8 years. Additionally for the last 13 years, I have been a network design and operations engineer supporting clients, such as Citi Bank, General Motors, Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Baker-Hughes Industries for AT&T.

While now calling North Carolina home, I and have lived in South Korea, California and Hawaii courtesy of the U.S. Army. I received my Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, my Master of Science in Information Technology from Capella University and my Doctorate in Business Administration from Argosy University.

My philosophy towards education can be summed up in this quote from W.B. Yeats:

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire"

You can see this fire of knowledge ignite when your child reads The Cat in the Hat with no help or a forty year old successfully builds their first Power Point presentation. When that fire of knowledge is lit, it can not be put out.
