Warren Mandel
Architect in the United States
I have been Recognized for my Expert Architectural Skills Born of a multicultural, American, half Jewish, half-polish family, I have not only made a great contribution to different urban landscapes for more than a decade, I have also participated in countless initiatives to make world a better place to live.
Out of my curiosity for this multi-disciplinary field incorporating fine arts, industrial design, architecture, horticulture and other aspects, I started my journey from University of California, Los Angeles. This is where I had completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
Talking about my Master’s degree, it was a complete call for my passion about the ecology, urban environments and design. Through intensive design studio projects, I took a charge on my creativity by adding that out-of-the-box vision in practical and resilient design solutions. This has proven as a uniquecombination of art and science in my career. Especially when I creatively addressed the key challengesof contemporary society such as climate change, urban population density and biodiversity loss.
Master planning or Urban Design.
Most essential to my work is the integration of the human and natural matrices into the sustainable landscape. I had the talent of re-imagining the urban environment and re-thinking of our cities.
Throughout my practice, the only motive I had in mind is to eliminate the distance between ‘idea’ and ‘implementation’, thus focusing on generating result-specific strategies so that the benefit of the projectis in turn earned by the community only.
Also, my contribution as a field critic has enabled beginners and intermediates to know
different ins and outs about the field of landscape architecture. I have helped many to know and understand this field much better.
