I’m the sports director at Tiger TV, LSU's student media broadcast organization. I live in Baton Rouge, LA, but I originally hail from St. Francisville, LA, about 30 miles north of Baton Rouge. I am a big sports fan. Before I got to college, I was mainly an NFL and college football and baseball guy; however, over the past few years I've followed the NBA, MLB and college basketball more. I'm also a big MMA fan, and I've been a pro-wrestling fan pretty much since I can remember. My ultimate goal is to work as a broadcaster for either the UFC or WWE. Recently I've started a podcast called "There's the Bell" where myself and a friend talk mostly MMA and pro-wrestling. You can follow my podcast on Facebook by liking the page "There's the Bell, with Max Hawkins & Cody Butler.

I also consider myself a big movie buff. I like a large variety, from classics like "The Godfather," to modern action movies such as "The Dark Knight."

Living in south Louisiana has ingrained me into a rich culture of cooking and food in general. I consider myself a bit of a food buff. My staples are naturally seafood and Cajun restaurants, but more recently I've tried to venture out.
