I’m William S. Monroe, a librarian at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island. I am also a historian specializing in the early Middle Ages. So, besides being subject librarian for many humanities programs at Brown, I am also curator of the medieval manuscripts and early printed books. In my spare time, I also sing and play a variety of eclectic folk music.
